Missed Communication?

How many times have good ideas or thoughts been blocked because you or the recipient of the message took it wrong or it did not resonate in the way it was intended?

Understanding type and what is important to the recipient can make the difference in any presentation whether in the team meeting, in your e-mails, or with your spouse or partner.  In fact, where we are likely to experience miscommunication the most is with our partners.

A recent renovation in our home created the ‘perfect storm’ for communication with my spouse when I neglected to pay attention to her type preferences when discussing what I was going to be doing.  While it all worked out, it created needless tension and misunderstanding that I could have avoided.

At Laurence Rumming Assessments we believe in the power of ‘preference based’ communication using the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory® and can assist an organization or individual to communicate more effectively through workshops or individual coaching.  Contact us for a free consultation.
