Opportunity is the subject of many quotes!

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.”  Thomas Edison.

“The secret to success is to be ready when your opportunity comes.”  Benjamin Disraeli.

“The ladder of success is best climbed by stepping on the rungs of opportunity.”  Ayn Rand.

Opportunity is almost never luck.  You need to be the driver taking advantage of networking possibilities and events in your communities.  Networking, continuously and consistently, builds the relationships that are invaluable in your search for opportunity.

The Vancouver Island Economic Alliance’s 6th annual Economic Summit is such an event.  The summit is being held at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in beautiful; Nanaimo on October 15th and 16th.  In addition to the valuable workshops and seminars, the keynote speakers will be Mark Carney, Christie Clark and Pat Bell.  For  more details on the show visit www.viea.ca  For more information on us visit www.lrassess.com

See you there!
