Are You Reaching Your Target?

Twenty-five years ago if you were in business you might advertise on radio, TV, or through newspaper advertising. You might belong to the local Chamber of Commerce and network with other like-minded entrepreneurs.  Besides word of mouth these were the main connections to your customers or clients.

Today’s world is much different. Communication has certainly become more complex!  The old standbys are still there but may not be as effective for some of your customers or clients.

We have business networking groups that meet at breakfast or lunch. We have E-mail, Twitter, Facebook with business pages and advertising, Google+, Linkedin, Websites, and blogs.

Business today is faced with so many opportunities for connection to their customers or clients. Each opportunity comes with disadvantages…they all take time away from your business or your personal life.  Which method or methods are most likely to hit your target market?  Do they use social media?  Do they use internet. Is networking going to reach them?  You need to know your target market or you might not market effectively and waste an already limited resource, your time.

Once you know the best method, get proficient at it and reach your target market!
