How do You Recharge Your Batteries?

I’m watching the rain dancing on the deck, misty islands on the open Pacific, and listening to the pulsing thunder of the surf on the sand.  A lone runner is on the beach with her black lab enjoying an early morning run in the rain on the wave-packed sand.  From my chair by the deck, nothing but the beauty and power of nature in view.

In our busy lives we all need to recharge, each in our own way, depending on circumstance and personality.  For some the dance floor and the company of friends.  For others a run in the rain or the exhilaration of riding the waves.  For me, solitude, getting lost in my thoughts.  Sometimes alone in the crowd.

Whatever does it for you … do it!  For health, for growth, for peace of mind … do it.
