Many of us at one time or another find ourselves wanting change, wanting more, sometimes less. It may be in our work or in our personal life. Surrounding us are many well-intentioned people giving their opinions of what you should or shouldn’t do to change your life.
The only person capable of changing your life is you. The motivation must come from within. It may be that you don’t feel you have enough information to take the first step. If you are really determined to change, seek out help. In today’s world of technology, we almost have too much information. Gather as much factual information as you can on what it is you want for yourself. Be careful not to be overwhelmed by what you find.
Who is your mentor? Perhaps there is someone in your life whom you have always gravitated to in times when you needed trusted guidance. They should not be your decision-makers, they should be causing you to consider that which might not have occurred to you, allowing you to see the path more clearly.
Some do not have a mentor or a trusted friend who can offer an unbiased opinion. If that is the case, you need to consider engaging a life coach. A life coach can remove the veils which make it difficult to see the steps you need to take and identify what may be holding you back from your journey.
Do not be the one who sabotages your dreams. Explore them, live them. Take the first step.
“It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.” Tony Robbins
